The sound quality from my sound processor is poor, distorted or abnormal.

Replace the microphone cover.
You should replace your Kanso® 2 microphone cover every three months, if the microphone protectors look dirty, or if your sound quality degrades.
To replace your microphone cover:
- Remove the cover from your sound processor.
- Place the new cover on your sound processor.
- Press around the edge firmly with your thumbs to make sure the cover is sealed.
