I hear a buzzing sound or distorted speech.

  1. Are you near sources of potential interference?

    Check for sources of interference, such as radio and TV transmission towers (within about 1 mile or 1.6 km), shopping center or airport security systems, and mobile phones.

    Try moving away from any source of magnetic or electronic interference.

  2. Contact your hearing health professional.

    If the problem continues, call your hearing health professional.
