Follow these recommendations to help keep your sound processor in good working condition.

Clean your Sound Processor regularly
- Turn off the sound processor before cleaning.
- Check the sound processor for dirt of moisture.
- Wipe the sound processor with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use cleaning agents, alcohol, or other liquids to clean the sound processor.

Protect your Sound Processor
- Avoid exposing the sound processor to extreme temperatures.
- Remove the sound processor before applying hair products, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, or similar products.
- During physical activities, secure the sound processor with a Safety Line or compatible retention accessory.

If your Sound Processor gets wet
- Remove the sound processor color cover.
- Dry the sound processor and cover with a soft, dry cloth.
- Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling.

Note: Your Osia 3 is splash-proof. Meaning, the sound processor is designed to withstand short-term freshwater exposure, such as accidentally dropping the sound processor in water for a short time or getting caught in the rain.* Routine use of a dry aid or desiccant is not required. However, you may use a dry aid or desiccant in situations with elevated humidity or following incidental exposure.*The Cochlear Osia 3/3(I) Sound Processor is dust and water resistant to level IP68 of the International Standard IEC60529. The sound processor with Aqua+ is water resistant to level IP68 (tested to a depth of up to 3 metres for up to 2 hours). Refer to the relevant user guide for more information.
