I cannot hear any sound when I turn on my sound processor.

Check the indicator light.
The indicator light should be green. If it doesn't turn on, please see My sound processor won't turn on. -
Check the coil cable.
Make sure the coil cable is fully inserted into the socket on your sound processor. -
Do you use Advanced mode?
If you do, turn up the volume or sensitivity, or try a different program. You can see how to do this on page 62 of the user guide. -
Does your sound processor use the SCAN program?
The automatic adjustments of the SCAN program can sometimes make it seem as if the sound processor is turning on and off. -
Do you use a remote control?
If you do, turn up the volume. -
Are you using two sound processors?
If you are, make sure you have them on the correct side. -
Try a different program.
To change between programs, quickly press and release the lower button on your sound processor. There's a step-by-step guide on how to do this on page 15 of the user guide. -
Recharge or replace the batteries.
