The sound quality from my sound processor is poor or isn't as good as it was.


  1. Check the battery door.

    Make sure the door is completely closed and there's no damage to your sound processor's external casing.
  2. Use a dry aid kit overnight.

    This will remove any moisture in the sound processor that might be causing the issue.
  3. For people with a Baha Connect system, check your snap coupling connection.

    The snap coupling is the part that connects your sound processor into your abutment.

    A loose connection from your abutment to the snap coupling can cause poor sound, or sound that comes on and off.

  4. For people with a Baha Attract system, check your external magnet connection.

    The sound problem could be due to a loose connection between your external magnet and your sound processor.
  5. You may need a new program.

    If none of the above solves the issue, your sound processor may need a programming adjustment. Check with your clinician.
