My sound processor won't turn on.

Make sure you're using the correct batteries.
For disposable batteries, use the ones we recommend – 675 (PR44) zinc air batteries designed for cochlear implants. Don't use silver oxide or alkaline batteries. Also, check if the seal has lifted from the battery. If it has, the battery could have lost its charge because it's been exposed to air. Note: Let new disposable batteries stand for a few seconds after you peel off their plastic cover and before you put them into your sound processor. -
Check that there's no dirt or dust on the battery contacts.
Remove the battery module and carefully blow to remove any dirt. You'll find step-by-step pointers for how to clean the battery module on page 40 of the user guide. -
Recharge or replace the batteries.
There's a step-by-step guide on how to do this on page 7 of the user guide. -
Are you using new rechargeable batteries?
If you're using a new rechargeable battery that hasn't been charged, it may still be in Sleep Mode. To wake them up, connect the batteries to the charger.
