Follow these steps to troubleshoot your sound processor.

Check for objects touching the Sound Processor
- Glasses, bike helmets, or other accessories on the head can cause feedback or whistling if they are in contact with your sound processor.
If the feedback or whistling persists, continue to the next step.

Ensure the cover is attached correctly
To attach the cover:
- Place the cover over the front of the sound processor base unit and align the button with the cover opening.
- Press down around the button until you feel a “click” on both sides of the button.
- Ensure there are not gaps between the cover and the sound processor.
If the feedback or whistling persists, continue to the next step.

Check for external damage
- Inspect the sound processor for visible damage, such as cracks in the casing.
