Nucleus® 7

I'm having trouble connecting my ReSound hearing aid to the Nucleus® Smart App on my Apple® device.*

  1. Is your ReSound hearing aid compatible?

You can check compatibility by visiting cochlear.com/compatibility.
  2. Is your Apple® device compatible?

To confirm compatibility, your Apple device must be listed on both Cochlear's Sound Processor and App Compatibility page and ReSound's compatibility page.
  3. Has your audiologist linked your ReSound hearing aid to your sound processor?

    On your compatible Apple device,

    • Tap Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices
    • Under MFI Hearing Devices, your sound processor and hearing aid will both be listed under ‘Your hearing device name’
    • If not, contact your audiologist to have your hearing aid linked to your sound processor
  4. Pair your sound processor and hearing aid to your compatible Apple device

You can refer to the Bimodal Control Users Guide for detailed instructions.
  5. Pair your sound processor and hearing aid to the Nucleus Smart App

You can refer to the Bimodal Control Users Guide for detailed instructions or watch the How to video.
