My sound processor changes programs when I get a message alert, use the keyboard, or lock the phone.

  1. Don't worry. This is your Phone Clip in action.

Whenever the Phone Clip detects a sound from your mobile device, it assumes you want to hear that sound in your sound processor, so it automatically changes to a phone streaming program. It will change back when the sound stops.

  2. Disable unnecessary sounds.

You can stop this from happening by disabling unnecessary sounds, such as lock sounds and keyboard clicks. Go to Settings on your mobile device to disable these sounds.

  3. Change the type of alert you get for a text message.

You can also set text message alerts to vibrate only, rather than tone.

  4. Are you using apps that allow alerts and notifications?

If you are, change your phone to silent mode and turn off the alerts on any apps you use that allow alerts and notifications.
