My sound processor works for about 5-10 minutes, then stops.

  1. Replace the battery.

    A new battery is the most-likely solution. To replace your battery:

    • Hold the sound processor with the back facing upwards.
    • Open the battery compartment all the way and remove the old battery.
    • Remove the sticker on the + side of the new battery.
    • Put the battery facing upwards into its compartment.
    • Gently close the battery door.
    Note: When its battery is low, the Baha 6 Max Sound Processor plays a chime to let you know it's time to change the battery. It plays two sets of four beeps. If enabled, a visual signal will show a repeated series of rapid flashes.
